Namaste and welcome! As a Licensed Psychotherapist and Registered Yoga Teacher, the focus of my practice is Yoga for Emotional Wellness. Yoga can help to manage anxiety, regulate emotions, lower stress levels, calm the nervous system, and inspire self-compassion.
My work includes:
- Small group classes
- Private classes
- Individual/One-on-one sessions
I teach from a trauma-sensitive approach, encouraging self-awareness and compassion, calming the nervous system, and the freedom to embrace what works for your unique self.
Our work together may include grounding, mindfulness, meditation, breathwork, mindful movement, and gentle/restorative yoga.
Restorative yoga is a gentle, slow-paced practice focused on resting and supporting the body with props such as pillows and blankets. When we allow ourselves to slow down and soften, we can help to shift our nervous systems from “fight, flight, freeze” to “rest and digest”.
